Hello All,

Where could I find information about Nokia 5800 XpressMusic LCD? Wiring, schematic... etc
I would be interested on using this LCD but I can't find the pinout.

Hi, you can download service manuals in http://www.shrak-mobile.com/eng
But new phones no longer have displays with built-in ram. Now is pure data streaming vith Hsync Vsync etc so unreliable for diy projects.

You can use a lot of Parallel Nokia LCDs like N81, N82... crazy cheap on ebay, USD 5-6 inc. shipping.
I tried that ones and worked with MC2PA8201 controller commands.
SO..you get a 320x240 display for few bucks.
The hard part is you need such small connectors, voltage level translators and a nice made board.
In the pinout you will see two different voltages. VDD is 2.7V, and VDDIO is 1.8V
And the pinout is found on that service manuals.
Some phones, mostly the sliding ones, don't have the LCD pinout in the schematic. Look in ebay and see which phone else use the same LCD, and try...
