Hi, LCD are new to me, and I dont have any programming experiance. I'm hoping in this fourun that some one or some people can help me out on a project I have. First I woudl like to take the basic approach: I have a have a 220 x 128 dot matrix LCD screen (ITM-240128A) which has a Toshiba controller (T6963C). I've just about finished building the harness to connect the LCD to the parallel, but what I wish to do once it's built is (Basicaly my questions are): Is there a test program available (simple execuatable) to test the LCD I have. What is the simplest way to display simple text on the LCD I have. ie: Copy display.txt lpt1:, Is there a simple executable progarm available? Has any one developed some simple c code to communicate to the LCD I have from the PC, that they are willing to share, so that I can learn and understand C and the LCD? Any help would be kindly appreciated. Kind Regards, Dariusz |
