First of all, I want to say that I'm so happy to find this LCD specialized forum , wishing you all the best


I am a beginner in doing practical projects ,and my project is to use graphic LCDs

I have concluded that the T6963 may be the best choice as a graphic LCD controller , but I have some points that aren't clear for me yet. I would be thankful is someone can help me

1- T6963 can be programmed in ASM , right ? ((( I hesitated in this because I saw some threads discussing it in C !! )))

2- can you suggest a graphic LCD that you tried and was easy to be interfaced by T6963 ??

3- in my project, T6963 will be connected to a PIC microcontroller... will I have a problem with this ? or they can communicate without any problem
( that is because all T6963 projects that I've seen were interfaced to a PC rather than a microcontroller , so I want to be sure if I can do this )

4- how can I program the T6963 , that in particular time ( or when receiving a signal )... a certain message will run on the LCD ?
is it by data addresses ? can you explain for me this point ?


I hope my questions aren't difficult for you to be answered as you're experts with LCDs ...
