ive found a color lcd that uses this driver and wanted to if anyone here has used this driver before, and if so how difficult it was to use. the lcd is the sony ACX705AKM, its data sheet can be found here http://www.earthlcd.com/downloads/acx705akm-7.pdf |

That looks relatively easy to interface display. Of course "easy" may be difficult to define. You need some hardware that is able to output the data to refresh the display. Maybe some ARM with built in lcd controller. Or there are separate controller ICs too but most in this class probably have at least 16 bit data bus plus address bus or something similar. |
