Like many, I'm beating my head against the wall here.

I've got a C8051F410 in bit bang mode trying to connect to the Epson S1D15G10 controller based Sparkfun LCD.

I've checked most of my signals, looks like all is working o.k (although I haven't gone thru and verified everything per timing diagrams).

My question:
When I hit the power on for this unit (PWRCTRL data = 0x0F), should it light up on its own? I'm not seeing any power draw. I just want to know I'm in the ballpark with this.

Also, is there a min/max on the SPI data bus rate I should be scared / aware of?
