Hi, LCD-guru's!
Has anyone tried to use mentioned PDA's screen for some project? It is a nice thing: 320*240 pixels @ 16 grayscales. There's a 4-wire touch screen attached. Looks like the display is driven serially, it has 12 pins altogether and only 7 of them are control signals. Oscilloscope shows that 3 signals are repetitive (frame sync?) and four look like some data (pixel data?).
There's not much info about the display in net. I found only this site:
http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=43 but there is no technical data. LCD is driven by NEC's VR4111 (
http://tagatuba.planet.ee/failid/VR4111.pdf) but this does not help much
Does anybody know type of this display (nothing printed on it!)? Any clues of where to find a datasheet?
Or, if there's no datasheet available, perhaps somebody has noticed Linux source for driving this LCD? It appears, that Compaq AERO has a Linux version also.
Thanks!
