Post subject:  Nokia LCD 1600

Hello

I have a Nokia 1600 LCD (RH-64 model) which I would like to use with a PIC Microcontroller.

I've seen on other websites that this LCD is compatible with these other models:

* Nokia 1600
* Nokia 1208
* Nokia 1209
* Nokia 2310
* Nokia 2126 CDMA
* Nokia 6125
* Nokia 6136
* Nokia N71 outside

The LCD features 96*68 pixels and 64k colors.

I would like to get its connector pinout. It has 10 pins and it's very small:

It seems that this connector from Sparkfun may fit it:

Do you have any hint on how to make it work on a microcontroller? Its pinout would be useful.

Thanks in advance.

Since you got the PCB hardware, why not do some analysis. You should get all pin-out figured out when all hardware on-hands.

If you got a hot-air gun, you can easily take off the one on the cell phone and reuse it.

Here is the result from google, but you need verify from your circuit boards:

1. CLK
2. SDA
3. GND
4. CS\
5. RESET\
6. VLED+, 7.5V
7. VLED-,
8. Not connected
9. Vdd, +2.8V
10. VIO, +1.8V

You should be able to verify Ground, Vdd by using a multimeter without taking anything apart. If you got a oscilloscope, you can find more info from your hardware.

This LCD module is now sold under US$5 (including shipping), really good bargain.

Thanks funnynypd for letting us know, I will test this right away and let you guys know. I suspect that the controller is an ST7626.
