I've just written an LCD controller class in C++ and am in the process of writing the bitmap display algortihm. I have successfully loaded a bitmap file and been able to catch all the header information but am stuck with parsing the data...

I know that the data should "supposedly" be a huge stream of bytes from which I can check each bit but I think there may be more to it. From what I can see there are 4 byte gaps in the data every now and then and they don't always follow a perticular pattern the whole time either.

Any help to get me further would be great, thanks.
