Hi.Any 1 tried to build an ALDL monitor or OBDII monitor ?

I was looking into OBDII sometime ago and it looked to not be extremely difficult to interface with but as my car doesn't support OBDII I haven't put more work into that. Combining the data readouts with large graphical lcd would be cool though, if I only had a car to use it with. :)
