I think you need to be slightly more specific ;)

Do you have some question about HD61830 ?

Ok, here is some help, my library for HD61830 (put on a LMG6401PLGE display). It is written in DOS, but it's faster than Windows libraries because most of them use DLPortIO driver, which is quite slow.
Since I don't have much experience with Windows programming, next one will be a library for microcontrollers (Atmel MEGA and then PIC16 or 18), maybe with a small digital oscilloscope application if this period of coming home from work at 10 in the evening will come finally to an end...

here is the link (with thanks to Henri):

Hey, this sounds very interesting. If you get to work on this I'd like to know more about your design.

Have you thought of what kind AD converter you'd use ?

You will get the entire code for it :) . I was thinking about a not too powerfull application using the internal A/D (works just fine) in the case of ATMEL and bigger PICs. Of course, smaller controllers don't have it so it will have to be an external one but again, if I try to use a fast parallel converter, I will not have enough pins on the controller for A/D and graphic LCD, and with a serial converter, it will be slower, decreasing the maximum frequency to be displayed. Anyway, first will be AT MEGA8 (8k FLASH, 1K RAM, A/D, serial com, 512 bytes EEPROM, lots of pins).
The only problem is that the work doesn't allow me to do anything extra at this moment, I hope that this will be the last week of this busy period.
Anyway, I will keep you informed ...
