Hello All,

I am using the G321D LCD to display a game for my final project in EE478 at UW. The microcontroller I am using is the PIC18F458. I used the initialization sequece for the two page (1 character, 1 graphic) setup found at http://www.woe.onlinehome.de/pdf/sed1335f.pdf (section 9, I believe). I cannot get the LCD to properly display, however. I checked my wiring and code, and I believe it is correct. What I have found is that when I first apply VLC and V0 to the circuit, the LCD briefly displays what I want before going blank. The only problem I can think of is that I destroyed the LCD by accidentally applying the -24V to VLC before the initialization sequence was properly completed. If that was the case, would the LCD behave in the manner I've described? If not, does anybody know what could be causing this erroneous behavior?

Thanks in advance,
Joel Tait
