Markus sent me these pictures of a Planar EL.640.200 SK display modded in his case and being driven by USB13700 controller board. Looks good to me :)

Couple days ago I also drew this schematic example how to connect a EL.640.200 SK to the USB13700 board:

To my knowledge nobody has yet built a cable using this as a reference so please double check everything yourself in case there are any mistakes. My suggestion when doing the wiring is to connect as many ground wires between the display and the controller board as possible and keep the ground wires close to the signal wires.

Hi,

the shematics are right, but i prefer to get the power direct from the power supply and not from your board.
with conector 24 and a 100kohm poti against gnd it is possible to dimm the display and prevent burn ins. you can see the pot knop on my pictures below the front-usb conector.

thanks again henri for your great support and this great little board!
