Hi EpMan,

I don't really understand what I have to change to get it working. Could you be a little more specific?

He meant that you need to edit the sourcecode and then recompile LCDInfo. But 0.4 versions should have this fixed.

@TweakFreak: you should enter 0x7400 in the INI-file not just 7400. Also check this IO-adress frequently, it sometimes changes when you reboot your computer. Mine seems to be steady on 0xFFF8 now.
But keep in mind that LCDInfo V0.3 doesn't work because of the little bug I found. Henri says it should work with 0.4 but I haven't tested this myself. If it still doesn't work I can email you the modified version 0.3 which I use...

Succes ermee!

@biCker: does your PCI-card already work? You should use version 0.4 (or fix and recompile 0.3) and set the BASE-address in the INI-file in the same way TweakFreak does (see his picture). But remember to put 0x in front of the address.

Toch maar even in het Engels, snapt Henri het ook!

mm, suppose it is the card that won't allow it to work.

Mine is the same brand as tweakfreak's, even same i/o range and all, used V0.4, changed everything, no go :?

oh and btw, the same lcd works on a normal parport

Hi
i have the same problem.
LCD Crystalontz CFAG12864B-TMI-V (Built-in controller: KS0108)
PCI Q-Tec 112P (serial/parallel)

Port: 8c00-8c07

i tried to put the port number into the .ini file but without result.
is it possible that the port number is to big/high for the driver?

thanks

P.S. sorry for my poor english, i hope you understand me.

I also have an PCI card with lpt port on it and the port is 0x8400

you just have to put the hex in decimal with windows calculator just put it in scientific (spelling?) mode and select Hex and type in like 7400 and the press on Dec, now you should get 29696 put that in the ini file instead of the 888 and everything should just work fine.

(i was using 0.3 version, in 0.6 just enter 0x7400)

But i want to change the IO range to 0x378 because i'm making my own lcd program in visual basic and there i can't use an unsigned 16 bit integer :( (i'm working with type: short) but 8400 is to long for short and so it doesn't work :(

does anybody know how to do it ?
