I'm having problems with a Nokia 3310 LCD. I can get it working no problem, but I've twice built a device using this module, and for the second time the display died after several hours, failing to come on after a power down.

[Later] the LCD has come back to life, possibly after a power cycle (but I'm not sure, someone else is using it).

I'm using 3.3V as the power source and pairs of 4k7/10k dropper resistors from the 5V PIC outputs. The code goes through the normal LCD init sequence as widely published.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?
