THe painting of the metalic base, the sides (Tha were painted on the inside , so we can get a miror finish ) and the front of the bay:

To place the acrilic on the bay there were 2 ideas , but othe firs on gave some bad result's due to a chemical reaction between the acrilic , the paint and a paste used to fill in the space, so i opted by polishing the front acrilic as the other part's and the result was much better then i expected :D

Wow, that is a REALLY nice job. I'm going through my own LCD project right now, except mine will be taking up 3 5 1/4" bays. Right now I'm on my fifth different PCB, but this one should work.

I'm curious though, you're in Portugal, but all the text on the bay is in English. Any reason why?

And this guide wouldn't be complete without tell ing people where you got the LCD from. Blue/white is probably the most sought after color combo for LCDs, so not telling people is just wrong, even if you ripped it out of some really hard to comy by equipment.
