I want to make a on/off switch for my display. It has 3 power cables: mass, -12V and +5V.

Is it enough to interrupt the +5V cable?

You need to switch off the contrast voltage also.

I'm useing 6-pole switch currently, that enables me to switch off +5V and +12V line.
I'm gonna change that soon. Going to but one of those fancy relays, that is controlled with one push button
If i just could find some fancy back light able rubber button's. Those would be nice :D
