Hi,

I'm new in hardware tuning. I saw the LCD screen mouse tweak here : http://www.metku.net/index.html?path=mo ... /index_eng

It looks not hard to use this screen with a simple parrallel port but I don"t know how to do that. (I sucessfully extracted the screen from a broken phone).

Could you help me ? My question is maybe stupid because it perhaps exists a lot of paper about this topic but I don"t know what keywords I should use on google :(...

Thanks,

Krust.

I just made a wiring diagram for the project. It is bit different from your case as it uses a driver board from www.jelu.se and you are using a plain LCD without a driver...

Diagram can be found on MetkuMods forum.

Yeah, I'd say so :D
My son (5 years old) saw this when I was reading through the project log on your website....guess what we'll be doing once Jelu gets some more controller boards in????
Awesome use of a small screen

Too bad that he didn't have more of those boards in stock. He sold out only hours after the article was released. :)

Haven't touched LCD's in a while now as I've been working with some other projects (based on other peoples ideas): http://oms.wmhost.com/dtvmodprogress4.jpg - Anyone recognise what it could be? :)

I've had my eye on that board with ATMega128 in it. Seems to be quite powerfull in driving the LCD fullscreen with good framerate.

I just realized that one had the Atmega uC on it. The one Japala used with his, from Jelu, doesn't. Which is fine with me since I know nothing about programming anyway. So, guess I'll have to wait for Jelu to get some more in :(

Zee, do you frequent the DTV hacking forums?
http://jledger.proboards19.com/index.cgi#general

The people here would love to see that mod! I dont know if youve been hiding it but youll see many others similar and different on those boards.

If your not already, come join a community of DTV modders.

Also, check out my lcd work at www.pyrofersprojects.com/3dcube.php

Just reg'ed and waiting for the admin approval... I'm having some keyboard problems (IE. not working at all) with my mod. Other than that it works ok.

I've been following the forum ever since I got my unit and also been looking at your stuff too.

...Out Of Topic... :)
