Hello. I am new when it comes to the concept of using an LCD screen from a laptop without the actual laptop. I have a Samsung LT141X4. I know that I am going to need a controller to use the monitor with either vga or composite inputs, but I am having a great deal of trouble finding one. If anyone could be of assistance It would be greatly appreciated. I have found this this but I am not sure if it will work in the manor that I need (it list my lcd model in the chart).

Just to clarify what I am going to be using the LCD for, I need to be able to use it like a television with a composite video in.

If the controller lists your panel in the compatibility list and also ships with fitting cable with correct connectors it should work with your display.

And looks like the controller supports composite input so it should work for you.
