LCDInfo.com

Hello! I've been using a LC7981 160x80 graphic lcd with LCDinfo with no problems, but I now want to take it to the next level by programming it myself. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can find the protocol necessary to run this lcd?

I've tried looking through the source code to LCDInfo, but since I don't really know C I can't seem to find anything useful. I'd prefer to find information directly related to Visual Basic, but if I can even learn what combinations of D0-D7/RS/E etc. that need to be pulsed to, say, clear the screen, that'd be awesome.

hi, sorry to resurrect an old post, wondered if your still interested in doing this?

IO.DLL using the parallel port is the best bet for within vb6 its relativly easy todo.
