Do you mind trying this: http://mylcd.sourceforge.net/files/touch.rar

This is my touch tester for the display, but importantly it will provide some debug information.

Hello Sylvio,

It seems that you're still using the older firmware version. Perhaps I've mistakenly assumed 0x700 is the latest for everyone. It's probably best to contact Henri.

Hi Michael

It's true that the very latest firmware version haven't been actively distributed yet. But as it has some good improvements I think it is time to get it into wider use. No point not taking advantage of the improvements in new software development. Like for example the increased raw data transfer rate that can be over 70% more than before and the improved display update protocol that can reduce the transferred amount of data to a fraction of what it was before.

Anyone who wishes to update to the latest firmware just send me an email and we'll get you updated. Before releasing this as a public downloadable update package I want to work to improve the update tool to make some checks to determine what is the correct way to update for that unit. As I know there are still some units out there that haven't been updated to the new improved bootloader/firmware system that was introduced around last May so those units need a slightly different update procedure.

Hi Michael

I see I never replied here. It's great to see updates to these. I have been playing with the new version and I have liked it. Still need to give it another try to test more of the features.
