hi,
when i use LCDInfo, i always get many of little black squares. When the clock is shown on my monitor, i can see that the display flicker for a less than a second.

Does anybody knows what i have made false? I checked the soldered and the cable-connections. It seems all ok. How can I prove, which line dosent work correct?

Thanks for all who help :)
Sorry for my bad english... :)

The flickering is some kind problem with the settings of the clock screen if I remember correctly. It might help modifying the font size or other settings in the screen ini files.

Black squares on the other hand sound like a bad connection or something else causing interference. Maybe just resoldering the connections might help.

Hello ...

I think you should use some capacitor between the powerlines of the Display ... maybe this could help ...
(because of the inteference from e.g. cpuFAN onto the powerlines to the LCD ...)

It should look like this:

+5V --------------+------------------o Vdd
|
-----
----- 100nF ...
|
GND --------------+------------------o GND
|
-----
----- 100nf ...
|
- x V -------------+-------------------o Vee

this schematic works like a 'DeNoise' filter ...

Good luck
