Here's now build 13 which should fix some bugs and also run on win9x systems now. There's also support for more than one screen and simple action support for screen changes.

Build 14 now available. Variable id's have changed so if you have done your own screen files you might need to do some changes. You can see all available variable id's in the log.txt.

Build 15 available. There are not much changes for the regular user but more changes have been done under the hood and in the plugin SDK.

Build 16 available. There were many changes so it's possible that some bugs slipped through. Also all graphics display drivers experienced a rewrite in some parts but I tried to test them all.

If there are any problems let me know.

Build 17 available. There isn't much new stuff unless you've been waiting for those drivers and plugins that were added. Next build should have more new features.

Also it's now zip instead of rar.

LCDInfo (Build 19)

An update is ready for LCDInfo. Have planned a few more features. Hope you don't mind me releasing Henri? I'll sort out the updated source code tomorrow.

Updates:

  • Fixed Dialog Layout: Fixed up the layout of the "Configure Plugins" and "Select Driver" dialox windows.
  • Added Variable Viewer: In the "Configure Plugins" dialog, you can now view all the plugin's variables by wither double-clicking on the plugin in the list or selecting the plugin and clicking the "Variables" button.
  • Windows XP Theme Support: LCD Info should now display with proper the proper Windows XP theme when used on the Windows XP operating system.
  • Start LCDInfo With Windows: There is now an option in the system tray menu to automatically start LCDInfo when windows starts.

Download:
http://users.on.net/~krakken/LCD/lcdinfo.exe (Overwrite current EXE)
http://users.on.net/~krakken/LCD/lcdinfo.exe.manifest (Put in same directory as EXE)

KrAkKeN,

Dunno if it's a bug or if you planned it that way, but when I use the X to close the variables window, nothing happens. Smile I have to actually click the close button.

Other than that... Thanks Dude, you rock Exclamation Wink

KrAkken could you post the lastest source, I got some changes I want to make too.
Right now I am working on a full media control center where the vfd is the only screen and it shows media info plus lets you go through directories and all. I figure I should do this for LCDinfo now because of the huge lcd/vfd support instead of just my current vfd. But in order for me to do this I need to add to LCDinfo a way for a plugin to send a message to LCDinfo to load a new screen.xml file for different screen configurations thats going to be needed. If you dont want to post the source here could you maybe email me it? thanks.

Just quits when I start it up, no error or anything...

Edit: Sorry, my mistake, works fine Smile

I found it! I meant to put it up a long time ago but unfortunately, in one of my worse days, my organisation went out the window and I accidentally deleted it. Luckily for me Henri had a copy that I sent him so here it is. Sorry about the _huge_ delay.

It's currently hosted on my home server so if anyone could make a copy or upload it here possibly Henri? The server is always up so don't worry about that but in 6 weeks i'm moving _again_ so I won't have the internet for a short while.

Enjoy.
