I also have this vfd , but cannot get it to work in lcdinfo. that DLL plugin is for your program henri? , or something else. i am not seeing the link to it and lcdinfo program? |

Hi... The only thing that I have to work with this VFD is a self made visual basic program... only a few informations and I don´t know if my software logical is correct... and the program from vfdworld.com I think that only Henri can help us... |

that IEE vfd on VFDworld.com, has the same command structure accordind to the PDF files for each the only differance i see is one is a 2x40 and the one I have is a 4 x 20 seems like verly little should have to change to make it work. |

I really need to catch up with this stuff. What I remember looking into few different IEEE VFD datasheets they had similar commands. I suspect that the driver itself was programmed to support different sizes, could have been just that I was lazy and didn't add it to the configuration dialog. jpace113, I have this VFD working just fine using the VFD thinger VB app from the vfdworld.com web site. I also have the PDF spec sheet of this IEE 03601-96 display http://www.gokrystal.com/pix/VFD_IEE_03601-96_2x40.pdf Hope this helps you figure out your problems. ~Boyan |
