I posted 2 days ago for some help with my LCD display. But got no reply. Now I've found out my pinout's, but I do not know how many pixel it is. Can any body help me?

It's like a 4*20 character in size.

Also I do not know how LCDInfo works......all I got on my display is a small window in the top left corner.

well the controller is supported and if you now have the pinout you just have to match up the pin config , as for telling you what size lcd ? cant really tell from that shot, take one of the front , but looks squareish to me so could be a 128x128 or 192x128 or 128x64 , get it wired that will easily be sorted later.

You say you get a small window in the top left corner so I think this is the 84x48 pixel default screen. Sounds like you got it working then.

Maybe these would help you get something of your own to the screen:

I've found out that I've got a 240x128, and it is working perfect. But my programming it not what it should be, so I've tried to use LCD Info Screen Desinger . But it crashes ALL the time. Can't save, load or any thing else. 8O. Am I unlucky, or is't a badly program? :?

Well the Designer is beta, so some bugs are expected.
Have a go at the .xml file, it isn't really 'programming' and quite easy once you get the hang of it.

Yearh I've "downloaded" a couple of pictures in to the display, and it was easy. So I think I will have a go on that tomorrow. Bye for now, and thnx for ALL the help.

I've used my USB as a power supply. But when I power up the display, it goes all black (as it's supposed to do) but after 3-4 sec. some (read ALOT) of the pixels are turning of......why? It's only when the LPT is connected. If I only have the USB in, it's ALL black. But when I plugin the LPT it starts to shutdown alot af pixels. Could it be bad wiring?

Perhaps the LCD draws too much current than USB can provide?
Could also be that you made some screens without background, so subsequent screens would appear corrupted.
Try displaying only one (screen) picture for a period of time, if pixels still turn off then try powering it from the PSU 5v molex.

If you only take the usb as power supply you can't get more than 100mA out of it. But if you "log on" with a real device you can get up to 500mA.

Ok....but I've tryed with and extern PS and it was the same. My friend has told me that it might be because I've damaged the LPT cable. So I will try with another cable tonight.

It did not work with another cable. Any suggestions?

Here you can see the error. I have tried with a stand alone PS witch can supply 60V 3A. So it should not be the power supply.

So it DID work at one time? Then i'd suggest rewire again and check connections with multimeter.
Hope it isn't fried or something :?

Yes it worked, and then I tried to use the USB as a PS. Now I've got 3-4 rows that are not working at all. But at the same time I used the USB I tried to "fix" my LCDinfo program, so it fitted my needs. Perhaps my config is wrong.
I have rewired with a new cable and check connections with multimeter, but the same thing happens.
When I conect the display to 5V it goes ALL black dots. And then when I will display my picture / winamp menu 3-4 rows don't work.
