I am trying to connect a 2x40 Noritake cu40026scpb-t20a VFD via Serial and interface it with LCDInfo. I have the datasheet, but have searched to no avail concerning proper connections. If anyone at all has seen or has had any sucess with this VFD, please post it here. Thanks!! |

The connection for CU20045SCPB-T23A was described here: http://forum.lcdinfo.com/viewtopic.php?t=1029 Yours should be similar but you should check the pinout from the datasheet. Basically you connect the +5v and GND for power and then the serial pin to serial port through the level converter IC like max232. |

Thank you Henri, I think I will just go with a Parallel connection. I have downloaded the T23A driver found on the forums... hopefully that will work for my 2x40 T20A. Thanks! |
