Hi everyone, I´ve found this LCD among some old stuff at home. I remember that I got in junkyard (a day-trip with my old men) but I can´t remember what was attached to it, if to a UPS or some type of printer. Meanwhile I forgot it and now I “re-found†it and I was wondering if it possible to put it to work. I´m no electronics expert/technician but I believe that I can make it work but I need help. This is what I found (Googled) about it: - It´s a 128x64 graphic display; - DG-12864-53 from DATAVISION (in the PCB there are two references : DG-12864-53 and 1264-45A S2FTLY-AP on a sticker); - It uses KS0108; - It´s attached to some controller board that I couldn´t find any (valuable) references in the internet – P306A, Phico M-0, 0235 94V-0, ELECTRONICS FOR IMAGING Z18 USB UIB. In the DATA VISION website I “decoded†(http://data.s520.com/en/code.php) the graphic display reference DG-12864-45A S2FTLY-AP: DG – Graphic LCM; 12864 – Graphic resolution 128x64; 45A – Series No. S2 – LCD mode Silver gray, STN; F – Polarizer Mode Transflective; T – View direction Top View (12H); L – Backlight LED; Y – B/L Color Yellow-green (EL,LED). Bottom line, what I want is to connect it and use but I can´t find a cable (or schematic) suitable to do that. I´ve found some on the forum but I don´t know if a “linear†adaptation can do the trick and I´m afraid to blow everything up (between other things) The board where the display is attached (solded) has a connector (3M3793) that I believe that could be used to connect to the PC (trough USB, because the board also have an USB controller – CYPRESS AN2131SC) but the only reference I got to this is in some L-Band Synthesizer project http://www.teledynemicrowave.com/pdf_broadband/9717_L-Band_Synth_without_Aux_1205.pdf. Can anyone give me a hand or point me to the right direction? LCD images Product S/N and identification PCB identification Back view Sticker with references Some voltage reference (I believe that is to the LCD backlight) Some ICs near the USB controller Some ICs near the USB controller Some IC on the controller board Back view from the graphic display An IC that I think is the negative voltage generator Full module back view Top of the module (on the controller board) USB controler References on the graphic PCB Module front view Some PCB references Internet references http://episteme.arstechnica.com/eve/for ... 6740919555 http://www.mikrocontroller.net/topic/140487 - In German, I need to use an online translator. OK, working on that basis a using Henri diagram (http://forum.lcdinfo.com/viewtopic.php?t=286) for Crystalfontz (CFAG12864B-TMI-V), I come out so far with this Also I find out that the IC (SCI7661M0B) Those are the voltage and pinout table |
