OK, now I had to do a Quake video. too, except real-time with audio

Here is Quake 2 at 15 fps with audio running on 8-bit AVR via SPI port.. The display just can't do more fps than that without starting to break up.

I am using an ARDUINO 2009 with the Nokia LCD that has the Philips PCF8833 controller and it's working allright, by itself.
Once I use it with another shield, that also works fine by itslef, the LCD stops responding.
I am most certain that there is an issue with SPI or with the timers as the Pins in use do not get into each others way.

So I am wondering if anyone has got this LCD running properly on an ARDUINO 2009 in conjuction with another shield that is also using SPI (like an Ethernet shield)?

I am seeking information about a fully functional library for this LCD that is able to make use of SPI.

The LCD-shield I've got is from 'nuelectronics'. I think this is a great shield, especially with its 5-way joystick driving for example the menu-sketch that is also very usefull. Thanks to the inventor.
BUT the command 'SendLcd' in PCF8833.c is not establishing a proper SPI communication (in order to obtain data from another shield using SPI as well).

I'd be glad to find some working code and library from anyone who has a similar SPI project completed successfully.

“Prices were great, as was service and ease of purchase”. When buying from phone parts dealer, they are unlikely to know which driver chip their LCDs have, i'd suggest you ask them for a photo of the actual units.

Hello everyone.
I'm new to this forums, but I'm actually pretty excited on working with LCDs.
I've got myself two LCD blocks, one from Nokia 3220, and one from Nokia 6230.
Both cellphones are OK, but I've never used them for a log time, and now it's time to find them a better use.
I've read all this post, trying to find any references to these two phones, but I've never found anything interesting or a reply.
I've found some interesting information on the 3220 one (reference 4850829 according to Nokia, it's also the same one for 7260, 6020, 6021 and the external screen of the N90).
According to the official RH-37 (Nokia 3220) service manual documentation:

I'll try to find information about the 6230 LCD.
In my country, the 3220 phones are pretty common, so if there is a anyway to make this LCD work with a PC interface or something, it would be awesome.

Does anyone know where I can get a 10 pin Nokia LCD connector and breakout board? I think the connector is a DF23 from Hirose, but they only sell them in multiples of 2000 with a 7 week back order!

Anyone has a pinout for Nokia 1600 LCD?
It is about 1.4 inch and has 96x68 pixel, CSTN 65536 color.
