Now the Nokia 1600 LCD is sold < US$5 (including shipping). Anyone got some pin-out and dirver IC information?

Some of the info I googled are:
96x68 piexel, 65536 color, 1.4 inch CSTN. The driver IC could be STE2007.

But I could be wrong.

Hey, the controller you mentioned is for monochrome displays. The 1600 is capable of 65K colors (i suspect it is being driven at 444 mode, i.e. 4096 color). The controller is most likely to be ST7626.

I will test this with some uC code and let you know. Oh yeah, it is now available at my place for about $2.5 (Rs.120)!! Great if we can interface it to cheap MCs for hobby projects..
