Hello,

i'm trying to program a 80c51 MPU to drive a P-12864-F LCD (powertip, 128x64)...
I'm using C language and i have a lot of difficulties... plus it's for my studies' final project :?

I guess all my initialisations are correct (thanks to the T6963 datasheet) but i can't display anything :(
I use the status check and the LCD seams to be ready as the STA0 & STA1 bits are set to 1.

If anyone can give me a simple sample code for 80x51 i'll be very glad  It would help me to find my errors...

Thank you in advance :)
Chris as Hwj

(excuse my english...)

For a simple example code in C you might find this useful:

It's for AVR but that shouldn't matter here.

hello....

i still have problemsto make my LCD work ... i think my hardware connections are wrong....

First, what should i connect on the backlight pins (A & K) ??
Plus, in the datasheet http://www.powertip.com.tw/product/PG%20SERIES/PG%2012864-F.PDF, what is the OPERATION VOLTAGE Vop ???? :? :?

I'm suppling my µC and my LCD with 5V on the pin Vcc...
I still have nothing on my display and i'm sure that my code is right... i test it with a logical analyser

Thank U in advance all...
Chris
