Henri,

Lets just say in a screen file I was to place all the XML code necassary for a plug-in test, and the <varid> I placed in there was <varid>driverinfo.XPixels</varid> Would that actually return the horizontal pixels? Or would it error? :)

Yes.... I have been peeking at sources... ;)

That driverinfo structure information from the driver is not currently available as variables, it's only used to configure LCDInfo for the display. So in this case LCDInfo would just notice that a variable with that name doesn't exist and discard the item.

All available variables are printed to the log.txt file when LCDInfo loads.

Would you have use for the driver information as variables ?

Um... No, not really...

I was just having a look in the source code, trying to work a few things out. :) But remember, I'm no programmer. ;) So, I just guessed, and then asked for confirmation. ;) Thought there might be some hidden variables that are used in the code, and that LCDinfo can read even though they aren't actually 'Plug-in Variables'

Anyway... Still looking forward to that Tutorial. :)
