I pulled an LCD panel out of an audio player (it was an SMC network digital music player) ...nice panel about 3.5 inches by 1.5 inches. anyway, the only identifying marks are on the ribbon cable (20 pin) that attached the panel to the PCB...it says Powertip FP-00360 on the next line it says UF94V-0 I've tried the requisit google search, but have come up emptyhanded...anyone have any idea what this panel is, and/or a pin-out for it?

Thanks!

jim

Jim,

Unfortunately, that is not a lot of information to go off of. If you have good quality pics of the front and back, that will help quite a bit more.

sorry about the LARGE pics, but wanted to make sure you could see the detail. I managed to get the panel reconnected to the SMC player, and power it on. Is this a VFD rather than an LCD? Any/all help is appreciated! thanks! jim

Actually, that circuit board underneath the display is what I need to see. I'm assuming that the display plugs into that, and it is probably where the controller sits. If I could see that, that would be great.

Here is a pic of the board. You can see the ribbon cable connector to the panel at the bottom of the pic. thoughts?
