Yep, I have tested the plugin and it works very well. First I tried with WMP8 and it didn't work at all but then I upgraded to WMP9 and it started working immediately.
There's few little things to fix and then it would be good for use. As I have the source I could put it available here but it happened that I forgot to take backup of the SDK compatible with build 14 and now I have made changes to achieve better binary compatibility so I can't compile plugins for build 14. I'll try to be more careful when build 15 comes available.

Hi,

Just to make sure, I have to use WMP9? and do I need to install any plugin like with the winamp support?
I have the dll now and I want to start testing it :)

Yes, it looks like WMP9 is needed. You need some plugins for WMP too and if everything goes fine they'll be available later today as I don't have access to them at the moment.

the dll should be available here:
http://www.ifrance.com/Dark-Elf/wmplcd.zip

beware... there is a bug in the lcdinfo dll, if you start lcdinfo (and you configured it to work with wmp) without starting wmp9, this will crash lcdinfo
you only have to open wmp once (you could close it after, it will work also)

i will correct this when i will be back at home, this is a few work...

Build 15 of LCDInfo now includes the updated dll for this plugin. For rest of the files and installation instructions you should look here: http://www.ifrance.com/Dark-Elf/wmplcd.zip

Have a look at the log.txt file created when you run lcdinfo. It creates a list of all plugins and there variables
