Some new features :) so I believe that this can be considered a new build so...

Build 20
added:
-BarGraphs (By Henri, implemented by me and fixed some things)
-Sliders (By Henri, implemented by me and fixed some things)
-Histograms (already existed, but were undocumented)
-PieGraphs

sometimes has a problem when closing the program, but I wasnt able to reproduce it yet, so I dont know the causes yet, any information will be welcome.

LINK

edit: added some more details that I remembered, Henri should get some credits, because he did some of this

Wow, great to see some life in this.

Could you also post the source so that I could have a look how you have implemented things ?

Sure here you go :)

There may be some coding errors, since my C++ knowledge is not very much and I could not understand all the code that you wrote.

edit: btw, use the latest SDK I have updated it a little

Hello,

Here I am to announce that I've been working on a half-developed feature of lcdinfo, TrueType text, Henri started it some time ago, and for the last days I started to work at it... static text is now possible with TrueType fonts, just needs some adjustments and it will be ready, then I'll add PluginText too and then release a new build, if Henri agrees of course ;)

Sounds good :)

Of course I agree to something like this. That's the idea of having the source code available ;)
Maybe if there's interest it would be a good idea to put together a more organized source repository and even look into developing LCDInfo further into a cross platform tool and adding more features.

its ready ill upload it in a few hours.
I agree that we could cross-platform it, but the way it is it would be too hard, there is too much windows dependent code, like the true type fonts, you started it with opentype, but since i couldnt get it working with it, I used some windows API its easy and works, of course has its problems of the cross platforming, one good thing was porting it to .net (the libs I use are from the ms sdk win2k3(or something like that :P)), but in .net there is come code that needs to be fixed the deprecation etc.

anyway i like the idea, and by the way, if anyone has new ideas please feel free to post them, ill try to put them on if i have the time, if you know how to do it go ahead :D I would be very happy seeing someone else developing this software.

I have to make a small project on my studies. Destination is to show something on PCD8544, and it is that what make LCDInfo. I already know haw to use LPT port, I have a specyfication for this LCD, but I can't show anything on the screen. I tried to undestande how LCDinfo works by reading source, but my knowladge is quite poor and failed. For now I have some functions that set pins onLPT axactly as I want, and I can write 8 bytes (and send in this way one whole byte of command or data to LCD). But I can't see any response. Is there something out of specyfication, that I should do, and I don't. Mayby someone can send me examle what to send (exactly how to setpins) to get something show on LCD? I'm using c# and inpuout32.dll to comunicate threw LPT.

Will anyone help me :?: :)
